Ahi Tuna/Ginger

 

Sarah’s “Lite” Recipes

 

 

1   pound Ahi Tuna (Sushi Grade)

2   tablespoons olive oil

     Fresh ginger root, peeled

     Salt and fresh ground pepper

 

Cut Ahi into 4 serving pieces.  Season with salt, pepper and a touch of fresh shredded ginger root.  In a skillet, heat olive oil till just below the smoke point.  Sear Ahi for 1 minute on each side or till desired doneness.  Enjoy!

Yield:  4 servings.
