Apple Salad
3 apples, cored
and cubed (1 Golden Delicious, 1 Red Delicious, 1 Granny Smith)
2 tablespoons
lemon juice
1 stalk celery.
sliced
1 cup seedless grapes,
halved
½ cup golden
raisins
½ cup pecan pieces
¼ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup sour cream
2 teaspoons
granulated sugar
Wash apples under cold running water. Pat dry with paper towels. Place apples in a bowl and toss to coat with
lemon juice. Add celery, grapes, raisins
and pecans to apples. In a small bowl,
whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream and sugar. Pour over apples and toss to coat.
Yield: 6
servings.
