Baked Chicken/Sage Butter

 

Herbs and Butters

     Skinless, boneless chicken breasts

     Baker’s Joy cooking spray

     Salt, pepper and garlic

1        tablespoon Parmesan cheese for each chicken breast

 

Browned Sage Butter

1   tablespoon butter for each chicken breast

3   fresh sage leaves for each chicken breast 

 

Preheat oven to 400-degrees. Spray chicken with Baker’s Joy and sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic to taste. 

Let chicken bake for 25 minutes.  In a small skillet, over medium-high heat, brown butter till it bubbles up light brown. Toss in fresh sage leaves.  Set aside.  Remove chicken from oven and sprinkle each piece with about 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese.  Pour browned sage butter over chicken to melt cheese.  Serve with rice pilaf or risotto.
