Champagne Mimosa/Mint
Recipe
Fresh orange juice, chilled
Orange slice
Fresh mint leaf
Fill a chilled champagne flute 1/3 full of orange
juice. Fill almost to the top with
champagne. Do not stir! Garnish with a slice of orange and a leaf of
fresh mint.
Yield: 1 serving.
*Harvest and preparation of mint – For fresh use, harvest
before flowering. Cut off near ground
level. Cut early in the morning just
after the dew has evaporated and before the sun is hot. Discard tough stems. Place leaves in a colander and rinse under
cold running water. Pat
dry with paper towels.
Select perfect leaves with a short stem for garnish.
