½ cup
granulated sugar
½ cup brown
sugar, firmly packed
½ cup butter
2 medium eggs
1 teaspoon
vanilla
2 ¼ cups
all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon
baking soda
2 cups milk
chocolate morsels
1 cup chopped
pecans
Preheat oven to 350-degrees. In a medium bowl, cream butter with sugars
until light and fluffy. Add eggs and
vanilla. Beat well. Combine flour and
baking soda in another mixing bowl. Add
to creamed mixture to form a soft but not sticky
dough. Add chocolate morsels and chopped
nuts. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls
2 inches apart on
cookie sheet coated with cooking spray.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes of until lightly browned. Remove cookies from cookie sheet and cool on
wire racks.
Yield: 3 dozen
cookies.
