NUTRITION!

Vitamin D (milk) helps the growing body to use calcium and phosphorus in a normal way in building

sound bones and teeth.

Carbohydrates (chocolate syrup) give work energy for body activities and heat energy for

maintenance of body temperature.

 

SUPPLIES!

2 % milk

Chocolate syrup

 

MATERIALS!

1   8-ounce liquid measuring cup

1   teaspoon measure

1   plastic spoon

1   8-ounce plastic serving cup

 

RECIPE – 1 SERVING!

1/2  cup milk

1     teaspoon chocolate syrup

 

DIRECTIONS!

1.  Measure milk and pour into serving cup.

2.  Measure chocolate syrup and pour into serving cup.

3.  Using a spoon, mix together milk and chocolate syrup for 30 seconds. 

4.  Eat and Enjoy!

Wash your hands with soap and water before cooking

Wear an apron or smock to protect your clothes

Listen carefully to directions. 

Use good table manners. 

Assist with clean up.
