Christmas Cheese Ball

 

Holiday/Special Occasions

 

1   8-ounce package cream cheese, softened

1   4-ounce packaged shredded Cheddar cheese

1   2-ounce jar diced pimentos, drained

2   green onions, finely chopped  

1   tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1   teaspoon garlic powder

½  teaspoon fresh ground pepper

½  cup pecans, finely chopped

 

In a bowl, mix all ingredients together.  Form into a ball.   Roll to cover ball with chopped pecans.  Wrap in plastic wrap.  Refrigerate for at least 3 hours to let flavor develop.  Serve with whole wheat crackers or crudités. 

Yield:  6 servings.
