½ cup light brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon
ground cinnamon
¼ cup
all-purpose flour
8 Jonathan
apples, peeled and cubed (6 cups)
1 cup fresh
cranberries
½ cup light corn
syrup
1 ½ cups granola cereal
Preheat oven to 350-degrees. In a large bowl, combine brown sugar,
cinnamon and cornstarch. Add the apples,
cranberries and corn syrup and toss to mix well. Spoon into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan
coated with cooking spray. Sprinkle with
granola cereal. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or
until the apples are tender and juices that bubble up in the center. Cool slightly and serve warm.
Yield: 6 servings.
