1 ¼ -ounce package active dry yeast
½ cup warm water
¼ cup butter, softened
1 tablespoons granulated sugar
1
large egg, beaten

cups all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon salt
In a large bowl, dissolve yeast
in water. Let stand for 5 minutes. Stir in butter, sugar, egg and salt. Stir in flour ½ cup at a time until dough is
too stiff to mix. Coat bowl with cooking
spray and form dough into a smooth ball.
Cover tightly with plastic wrap and chill for at least 2 hours. Remove dough from the refrigerator and divide
into 12 rolls. Place in a baking pan
coated with cooking spray. Preheat oven
to 400-degrees. Lightly spray rolls with
cooking spray. Cover and let rise for 1
hour. Bake for 20 minutes or till golden
brown. Remove pan from oven and place on
cooling rack. Baste with melted
butter.
Yield: 1 dozen small dinner rolls.
