Fresh Peach Sauce

 

Sarah’s “Lite” Recipes

 

4   fresh peaches, peeled and thinly sliced

2   cups water

1   cup granulated sugar

2   tablespoons cornstarch

1   teaspoon cinnamon

 

In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and sugar.  Add mixture to water and bring to a boil.  Reduce heat to medium and cook until thickened.  Stir in cinnamon and peaches.  Serve over yogurt. 

Yield:  3 cups.
