Holiday/Special Occasions

1     4-6 pound fully cooked boneless ham, sliced

1     6-ounce can frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed

1     cup apricot preserves

½    teaspoon ground nutmeg

½    teaspoon ground cloves

Preheat oven to 325-degrees.  Place ham on rack in a shallow roasting pan.  Score top of ham in a diamond pattern, making cuts about ¼ -inch deep.  Insert a meat thermometer.  Bake for 1 ¾ hours or until meat is reheated through.  The thermometer should register 150-degrees.   In a small bowl, combine apple juice, apricot preserves, nutmeg and cloves.  Spoon glaze evenly over the ham and continue to bake until the glaze begins to lightly brown.  Transfer to a large platter and serve.
