turnips, peeled and quartered

cups water
˝ teaspoon salt
Arrange turnips in a single layer in a large
skillet. Pour salted water over. Cover and bring to a boil, about 10
minutes. Simmer turnips uncovered
stirring occasionally, about 8 minutes until water has evaporated.
3 tablespoons
butter, softened
2 tablespoon
honey
3 tablespoons
water
Mix butter, honey and water together in a small
bowl. Pour over cooked turnips and
sauté over medium-low heat until golden brown.
Yield: 4 servings.
