Grilled Pork Steaks
Meat
4 large pork
steaks, 4 to 6-inches in diameter and ½ -inch thick
Trim most of the fat from edges of the pork steaks. Score edges in several places to prevent
curling. Heat an outdoor grill, grill
pan or skillet over high heat. Add the
pork steaks and grill, turning once until brown on both sides. Brush with sauce and cook about 8 minutes per
side till well done
1 tablespoon
vegetable oil
1 small sweet
yellow onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic,
peeled and minced
1 12-ounce bottle
chili sauce
¼ cup dark brown
sugar
2 tablespoon
water
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
Worcestershire sauce
Sauce: In a
skillet, sauté onion and garlic. Add
remaining sauce ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until
slightly thickened.
