Grilled Tuna Steaks

 

Sarah’s “Lite” Recipes

2      4-ounce tuna steaks

 

Marinade

1/4   teaspoon cumin

1/4   teaspoon paprika

1/4   teaspoon turmeric

1/4   teaspoon cayenne pepper

1      clove garlic, minced

1/4   teaspoon salt

1/4   teaspoon fresh ground pepper

2      teaspoons fresh lemon juice

1/3   cup olive oil

 

Place tuna steaks in a shallow bowl.  In a small bowl, whisk together marinade ingredients.  Cover and marinate for 2 hours, turning once.  Heat grill pan to medium-high and cook steaks one minute on each side or until desired doneness.  

Yield:  2 servings.
