Honey French Toast

 

Country Cooking

 

˝  cup honey

1   cup milk

6   large eggs

1   teaspoon vanilla

1   teaspoon ground cinnamon

8   slices French or whole grain bread

     Butter

     Honey

     Confectioner’s Sugar

 

In a mixing bowl, beat together honey, milk, eggs, vanilla and cinnamon.  Dip bread slices in egg mixture, turning to coat.  Coat a griddle with cooking spray or a light coat of butter.  Brown soaked slices turning once.  Serve with honey and a sprinkle of confectioners’ sugar.  

Yield:  8 servings.
