Horseradish Burgers
1 pound ground
sirloin
½ cup steak
sauce, divided
1 large egg,
beaten
2 tablespoons
prepared horseradish
2 tablespoons
fresh chopped parsley
2 tablespoons
chopped sweet yellow onions
4 slices
Provolone cheese
4 large
hamburger buns, split and toasted
Heat outdoor grill or grill pan on high heat. Lightly coat with cooking
spray. In a bowl, combine
sirloin, ¼ cup steak sauce, egg, horseradish, parsley and onion. Divide into 4 equal patties and slightly
flatten. With a wooden spoon, press a
shallow dent into the center. This will
help the patty keep its shape. Grill
for 6 to 8 minutes per side, basting with remaining steak sauce, until well
done. Top with cheese and serve on
toasted buns.
Yield: 4 servings.
