Hot Dog Relish – Rudy

4 cups onions
1 medium head
cabbage
10 green tomatoes
12 green sweet bell peppers
1 cup salt
Grind vegetables using a coarse blade. Sprinkle with salt and let stand
overnight. Rinse under cold running
water and drain. Place in a large
stockpot.

tablespoon celery seed

tablespoons mustard seed
1
teaspoon turmeric
4
cups cider vinegar
2
cups water
Combine ingredients and pour over vegetable mixture. Heat to boil and simmer for
30 minutes. Seal in hot
sterilized jars.
Yield: 8 pints.
