M&M’S Holiday Cookies
1 cup granulated
sugar
1 stick butter,
softened
1 large egg
¼ cup milk
2 teaspoons
vanilla
2 cups
all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking
soda
1 teaspoon baking
powder
1 12-ounce
package semi-sweet chocolate M&M’s mini baking bits
Preheat oven to 350-degrees. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter
and sugar using an electric mixer on medium speed. Beat in the egg, milk and vanilla. In another bowl, sift or mix together the
flour, baking soda and baking powder.
Slowly add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture. Gently stir in baking bits by hand. Shape cookie dough into balls and place
2-inches apart on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until edges are lightly
browned.
Yield: 2 dozen
cookies.
