Nectarine Tart

6    nectarines, pitted, peeled and sliced

1    cup granulated sugar

2    tablespoons cornstarch

1    teaspoon ground cinnamon

1    9-inch tart crust

     Granulated sugar

 

Preheat oven to 350-degrees.  Combine nectarines, sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon in a large bowl.  Lightly sprinkle crust with sugar and pour fruit mixture in.  Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown and nectarines tender.  Let pie stand for 10 minutes before serving to allow juices to thicken.  

Yield:  6 servings.
