Carbohydrate
(bread) gives work energy for body activities and heat energy for maintenance
of body temperature.
Incomplete protein
(peanut butter) with the combination of other incomplete proteins builds and
renews body tissues and supplies energy.
SUPPLIES!
Whole grain bread
Creamy peanut
butter
Raisins
Red gummy worms
MATERIALS!
1
1 tablespoon measure
1 kitchen scissor
1 plastic knife
1 serving plate
RECIPE – 1
SERVING!
1 slice whole grain bread
1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
1 raisin
1 slice gummy worm
Fruit loops
DIRECTIONS!
1. Cut out turkey from slice of bread.
2. Measure peanut butter and spread over
bread.
3. Decorate turkey! Place a raisin for eye, gummy slice for
waddle and fruit loops for tail feathers.
4. Eat and enjoy!
