Parmesan Garlic Bread

 

Holiday/Special Occasions

 

½  cup butter, softened

1   teaspoon garlic powder

½  teaspoon dried rosemary, finely chopped

1   teaspoon Italian seasoning

1   tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

1   pound loaf crusty fresh bread, cut lengthwise

     Parmesan cheese

 

Prehet oven to 375-degrees.  Mix seasonings and cheese into softened butter.  Spread each half of French bread with equal portions of seasoned butter.  Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese if desired. Place bread halves on a cookie sheet crust side down.  Bake for 10-12 minutes or until crusts are light brown.

Yield:  8 servings.
