Peanut Butter Snowballs

Kids Cooking

On Christmas Eve when Santa visits your home, prepare him a plate of cookies.  Peanut butter is mixed with dry milk, confectioners’ sugar, and honey.   Cookies are rolled into balls and dusted with sugar.   For a deluxe version, roll in carob chips, shredded coconut, or finely chopped peanuts.   Always please your parents by leaving a clean kitchen.

Recipe:

1/2      cup creamy or chunky style peanut butter

1/2      cup instant nonfat dry milk

2/3      cups sifted confectioners’ sugar

1/2      cup honey

           Sifted confectioners’ sugar

In a mixing bowl, stir together the peanut butter, milk, sugar, and honey.  Using a teaspoon, break off enough dough to form walnut-sized cookies.   Roll in confectioners’ sugar.  Cover and refrigerate until firm.  Yield:  1 dozen.
