Red Cabbage Slaw

 

Holiday/Special Occasions

 

1  head red cabbage, shredded

1  small sweet yellow onion, minced

2  Jonathan apples, peeled, cored and finely diced

 

In a large serving bowl, toss together the cabbage, onion and apples. 

 
Dressing

1  cup mayonnaise

1   tablespoon lemon juice

1   tablespoon milk

2   teaspoons granulated sugar

1   teaspoon caraway seed

½  teaspoon fresh ground pepper

½  teaspoon salt 

 

In a small bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients.  Pour dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to coat.  Chill before serving. 

Yield:  8 servings.
