Vitamin C
(tomatoes) increases resistance to infection and maintains a sound condition of
teeth and gums.
Vitamin A (carrots,
romaine) helps maintain healthy eyesight and skin. It also helps regulate the immune system.
SUPPLIES!
Romaine lettuce
Baby carrots
Ranch dressing
MATERIALS!
4 small paper bowls
1 pair tongs
1 plastic fork
1 solid cup measure
1 tablespoon measure
RECIPE – 1
SERVING!
1 leaf romaine lettuce, stem and rib removed
2 grape tomatoes
2 baby carrots
2 teaspoons dressing
DIRECTIONS!
1. Tear leaf into
small bite-size pieces and place in serving bowl.
2. Add grape
tomatoes and baby carrots.
3. Measure
dressing, drizzle over, and toss to coat.
4. Eat and enjoy!
