Sirloin Roast

1    3-pound beef sirloin roast

 

Marinade

½   cup beef broth

½   cup teriyaki or soy sauce

2    tablespoons olive oil

2    tablespoons dark brown sugar

2    tablespoons sweet yellow onion, finely chopped

3    cloves garlic, minced

1    teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

 

Preheat oven to 350-degrees.  Mix marinade ingredients in a small bowl.  In a sealable plastic bag place roast and marinade ingredients.  Seal bag and turn to coat.  Refrigerate overnight.  Drain and discard marinade. 

Place roast on a rack in a roasting pan. Bake uncovered about 2 hours or until desired degree of doneness.  Let stand a 20 minutes before slicing. 

Yield: 8 servings.
