Stir-fry Snow Peas
1 pound snow peas, rinsed and stems removed
2 tablespoons
sesame oil
1 teaspoon fresh
ginger root, peeled and minced
1 8-ounce can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
1 tablespoon soy
sauce
In a wok or frying pan, warm the sesame oil over
medium-high heat. Add the ginger, snow
peas, water chestnuts and soy sauce. Stir-fry
about 3 to 4 minutes or until the peas turn bright green.
Yield: 4
servings.
