Strawberry Tart

 

Holiday/Special Occasions

 

1   8-ounce package cream cheese, softened

½  cup granulated sugar

2   tablespoons milk

1   quart medium-size strawberries, hulled

1   16-ounce package strawberry glaze

1   9-inch prepared tart or pie shell

 

Bake shell according to package directions. Cool on a wire rack.  Using an electric mixer, blend together the cream cheese, sugar and milk until light and fluffy.  Spread cream cheese mixture over bottom of pie shell.  Arrange strawberries point side up and drizzle strawberry glaze over.  Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.  Serve with a dollop of whipped cream.

Yield:  6 servings.
