Strong Irish Coffee

1  shot Irish whiskey

1  sugar cube

1  tablespoon heavy cream

    Hot, strong black coffee

 

Fill a stemmed whiskey glass with hot water and then throw it out.  Repeat 2 times.

Fill the glass two-thirds full with coffee, add sugar cube, and stir to dissolve.  Add the whiskey.  Stir to mix.  Pour the cream over the back of a spoon so that it floats on top.  Do not stir!  Sip the hot liquid through the cool cream.  Enjoy!
