Sub Sandwich

 

Holiday/Special Occasions

 

 1-pound unsliced loaf of French, Italian or whole grain bread

½  pound shaved turkey

½  pound shaved ham

¼  pound thin sliced salami

¼  pound thin sliced White American cheese

¼  pound thin sliced Swiss Lorraine cheese

     Crisp Lettuce leaves

     Thin tomato slices

     Thin sweet yellow onion slices

     Mayonnaise

     Honey mustard

     Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste

 

Cut loaf of bread in half, lengthwise.  Spread one half with mayonnaise the other with mustard.  Cover each bread half with lettuce.  Layer meats, cheeses and top with veggies. Salt and pepper to taste.  Place top half on securing with party toothpicks.  Cut into serving slices.

Yield: 8 servings.
